Potty trained?? Almost!! :)

Worthy drinks A LOT!! I mean, A LOT! Sometimes his diaper will be soaked all the way through within a couple hours. He usually tells me when he needs a diaper change so I depend on him to let me know...but sometimes he doesn't and he gets a rash, and I feel soooo bad for depending on him as much as I do, especially when we're out all day running errands.
Yesterday Worthy developed a rash. I thought if I used the blow dryer on his bottom before bed, it would be gone in the morning like it usually is. But it wasn't the case this time. It was still painful come morning. So I tried drying it again and added baby powder to his diaper, but it didn't help. I was tired of changing his diaper every time he peed...which was every 10 minutes! So I decided he would go without a diaper the whole day. I put shorts on him because for the life of me I couldn't find any of the underwears I bought awhile ago. I had just put the shorts on him when he peed, on the kitchen floor. After cleaning that up, I took him to the toilet where I kept him until he peed again. Yes, he screamed and yelled, but I kept him there!! And I was planning on keeping him there for as long as it took for him to pee again. Luckily it only took him 5 minutes. When I noticed he started to "go" I quickly turned him to the toilet and he made half of it in!! I cheered and clapped and did all I could to show him that what he did was a good thing.
After about a half hour I took him to the toilet again and this time it only took him 1 minute. He did still scream and yell standing at the toilet but he joined in with me when I cheered and clapped afterwards. I planned on taking him every half hour...but he ended up telling me when he needed to go!! And he did so well!! Until he took a nap and didn't want to use the toilet anymore. I put a diaper on him during his nap and good thing I did because it was soaked when he woke up a couple hours later. I ran to the store to get more underwear and he has been really good about using the bathroom since then. Only a couple accidents...but it's only our first day!! I'm so proud of him!!! :)
