Days 17 & 18. 30 DoR.

Day 17.
Yesterday Zeus worked the AM shift and then had to head straight to the football game after work. I didn't have anything planned for the day but ended up editing a family picture, added "I LOVE YOU!!" to it, and texted it to him while the game was going on so he'd get it afterwards.

Day 18.
I wrote him a short and sweet love note via text message.

Today Zeus works a double. We won't see him all day but it seems normal to us since he's so busy. And because he's gone more than he's home, we really enjoy the days he is off...even though it's never a full day because there's always practice he needs to go to.
Call me crazy, but I really hope he is able to coach basketball as well. Cimarron got a new head coach for their basketball team and word is, he cleared the whole basketball staff so there's openings as far as we know. Not sure yet if the coach is bringing his own people in or looking to hire new people. So we're keeping our fingers crossed that Zeus will be able to coach!
Coaching really does take a lot of time away from home especially since Zeus is also working full-time. But I love watching him on the sidelines! He's so great with the kids and so passionate about what he does. It really has been a blessing to us even though he is out of the home a lot. If he's not able to help with the basketball team we'll be a little disappointed but it'll be good since he'll have more free time on his hands and hopefully start school up again. Not to mention our baby girl will be here! Either way, whether he coaches or not, we'll be happy and grateful for the opportunities that present itself along the way.
We have really been blessed since we moved here to Vegas. And I truly believe it's because we relied on our Heavenly Father throughout the whole move and still rely on him today. Sometimes I wonder how we do it, but leave it up to the will of the Lord and we know we'll be taken care of. Of course there is always room for improvement as far as our spirituality and church life, but we have been religiously consistent with paying our tithing and we continue to see the blessings rain upon us. I can't deny the love I feel from our Heavenly Father as I try to better myself as a woman and a mother and wife. There are so many things I would like to do and learn, but I know my number one calling right now is to be the best mother I can be, to nurture and love my babies the way He nurtures and loves me each and every day.
There is no greater feeling than knowing I am loved and supported by the man himself!! I LOVE the gospel! And so grateful for the blessings my family receives as Zeus and I strive to live its teachings and counsels of our living prophets.

THE CHURCH IS TRUE!!
