Days 19 & 20. 30 DoR.

Day 19.
I ran to the store last night after dinner to get some dessert. I grew up in a family who most likely than not had desserts every Sunday whether we went out as a family to Sonic to grab a shake or banana split or ran to the store and bought pie and ice cream or root beer floats. We just always craved something sweet after our Sunday dinners!! And I loved it. It's one of my favorite memories growing up. Anyway, I wanted to make us some banana splits but the bananas weren't ripe so I had to settle for hot fudge sundaes. In the middle of making Zeus's bowl he told me he didn't want any!! So today's little deed was a FAIL! Maybe I'll try again another day.

Day 20.
Zeus might work a double today. I woke up this morning with him and helped him get ready. No, he dressed himself!! Lol. He made cheeseburgers for lunch yesterday after church and planned on taking the leftovers to work. I packed it for him along with other little snacks and fruit and had it ready just in time for him to leave. Even though it was a small act, as little as waking up earlier than I usually do, it made me feel a little closer to him. And I'm happy I got to spend time with him this morning before the start of our long day! It felt good. :)

As for the progress of our potty training. Worthy woke up around 3 am early Sunday morning wanting me to rub his tummy. Then he said he needed to go peepee but was pointing to his butt. I knew his stomach was hurting because he had held his poop in because of his fear of sitting on the toilet. So...I held him on the toilet with him screaming at the top of his lungs until he went. My poor baby!! It was sad. I had put a diaper on him after he fell asleep earlier that night but he wouldn't go in it. He kept saying he needed to go pee and held it in not realizing he could just go in his diaper. It's a good sign for the most part! Him being able to control when he lets go.
Yesterday we just attended sacrament meeting because I wanted to see how Worthy would do out of the house without a diaper. He did great!! I asked him every 5 to 10 minutes if he needed to go peepee and every time he shook his head no. But he let us know TWICE when he needed to go and Zeus took him...and he did!! I was so proud of him!! We sat close to the doors nearest the nursery because they have a toilet especially for the little kids in its own separate bathroom right in the room. Then I took him in the store with me last night and he told me while we were standing in line he needed to go, so I hurried to the bathroom and he went. My baby is growing up!!! :) It's just trying to get him used to sitting on the toilet that's the hard part. Wish me luck as we try again today!

Oh and as for me wanting to relax Saturday night...I did!! The boys were asleep by 10:30 and I made me a nice cup of hot chocolate, found a nice soft spot on our couch, and read until Zeus got home. It felt SO good to be able to just sit in quiet after a long, sometimes frustrating, day.
Yesterday was a lot better, a hundred times better, because Zeus was home to help out and Worthy is getting the hang of using the bathroom. And thanks to Zeus, he woke up with the boys yesterday and let me sleep in until 10:30!! Ok so that may still be early to some people, but the last time I slept in that late was before Worthy was born. And let me tell you, a couple extra hours of sleep in the morning makes a world of a difference. I was wide awake all day!!
