Day 25. 10.22.
Zeus had to work Saturday morning and I woke up early to make him pancakes before him leaving for work. For some reason the boys were awake early too. To make it a little fun for the babies I added chocolate chips to the mix, forgetting that Zeus hates chocolate chips in his pancakes. Oh well...it's the thought that counts right??
Day 26. 10.23.
I asked Zeus to do the dishes this night so I could clean up around the house after the boys were in bed. For some reason I felt bad when I glanced over at him by the sink. I usually do them but the house was a mess and I thought he could help out a little. Believe it or not we've never done the dishes TOGETHER throughout the whole time we've been married. It has always been one or the other. And I found it was a good opportunity to finally make this our first. Not only did we get it done faster, but it felt good actually working together. We've got to do this more often. I can't even imagine how much we'd get done by working together rather than me wanting to do everything on my own. It would only take half the time and we'd get soo much more accomplished!
Day 27. 10.24.
Last night we just hung out. Watched movies, played games, ordered pizza. Usually Zeus and I would just claim a separate couch and lounge on it, enjoying our own space, but last night I made him scoot over and cuddled with him a little while we watched movies and watched the boys play. Of course it only lasted 5 minutes before Worthy wanted to join us. But it felt good!
