Can I sleep please?!

This past week has been the worst week EVER as far as trying to go to sleep at night. Whether it's restless leg syndrome or shortness of breath or heartburn, I cannot fall asleep!! I'm not sure if this baby is positioned higher than the boys were. I remember having shortness of breath when I was pregnant with them, but I was farther along than 6 months when I started having it!! This just really sucks. I've stopped trying to fall asleep and here I am with my pillow and sheet in the living room on the couch watching Glory Road blogging my life away. I don't ever remember eating midnight snacks this much. Say hello to the pounds packing on!
I feel more and more pregnant each and every day. It's probably a mix of satisfying my sweet tooth and slacking on my daily walks. I've got to stop buying junk food for the house. If we don't have it then I can't eat it. But it's not even me! It's more Zeus. Lol ok that's just me making excuses. Well...while I'm at it, I might as well write about something worth losing sleep over.
In preparing for the arrival of the newest member of our family, I can't decide whether to get a crib or a bassinet or a play pen for baby to sleep in. The thing is, cribs are soooo cute!! And everytime I see a really nice one, I want it!! But reality is, baby most likely won't ever sleep in it and I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on something that will just sit there and look pretty in our room. We received a play pen with a removable bassinet as a gift from one of my close cousins when Worthy was born and he NEVER used it. It just took up space in our room and sometimes was used as another dresser for our clothes. He didn't use it not because we didn't like it but because it was just soo much easier for me during the night when he'd wake up. I kept him in bed with me so when he was hungry all I had to do was roll over and nurse him, and most of the time I fell right back to sleep while he was still eating. Yes I still got all my sleep! I did the same with Waylon. Before Waylon was born I found a toddler bed for Worthy at DI for only $10!! It was perfect! And Worthy did really good sleeping in it too. It wasn't until Waylon was about 6 months or so when he finally slept through the night and we put the play pen to use. Unfortunately we had to throw it away before we made our move to Vegas because of a small bed bug infestation in our apartment complex. I hate those bugs!! And didn't want to chance bringing them over with us.
I was thinking of getting something small like a bassinet so I can easily move it wherever I am. Whether I'm in the room or in the living room, I would like to have baby close so I can hear her when she wakes up. But the problem is...how long will baby be able to use it before she grows out of it?? Not long.
I dunno!! I'm still searching for the perfect little bed for our princess. Something smaller and more mobile than a crib and play pen and bigger than a bassinet. Is there anything??
