blah blah blah

This post will be about nothing in particular. Just a few things I've been thinking...

So, I recently got a new phone and I LOVE IT. It is my first smartphone. I was a little hesitant to get it because really, all I need a phone for is to make calls, text, and browse the internet a little. My Samsung Eternity wasn't a smart phone and it did exactly what I needed it to do. Honestly, I was sad when the touch screen was starting to go out. I didn't WANT a new phone. If they still made the model I had, I would have bought me the exact same one! But after two years, of course they upgraded it and then stopped the manufacturing of it, well at least that's what the guy at the att kiosk told me.
Anyway, the last few days I've been having fun playing around on my new phone. I downloaded the LDS Gospel Library and I am amazed!! It has EVERYTHING!! The scriptures, all the magazines and general conference talks since the very beginning up until now, all the church manuals, and even the hymnbook and children's songbook. I wasn't sure how I felt about reading the scriptures off my phone instead of out the book itself, if the Spirit is felt the same. But holy wow. When I'm laying with the boys waiting for them to fall asleep, I'll just pick up my phone and catch up on my Book of Mormon reading. The challenge started last week and I'm already behind. And I've got to admit, the scriptures are scriptures no matter how you read it. I LOVE how all the works of the church are literally in my back pocket. We have come such a long way, from Joseph Smith going through so much just to protect the Book of Mormon, and now it's available to ANYONE with a few taps of your finger on a phone. I feel really blessed to be able to enjoy the luxury of having the words of the prophets with me at all times. :)

My cousin is also giving birth soon and she always posts projects and ideas she has for the new baby on Facebook. A few days ago she posted a picture of a car seat blanket and it was sooooo cute!! It's a blanket you can put in the car seat, with holes for the seat belt to come through so you don't need to put a jacket on baby, just put her in and bundle her up in the blanket!! It looks sooo comfy AND cute. It would be perfect for baby since she'll be born in the middle of winter. Well, even though it doesn't snow in Vegas or get down to the 20's and teens in temperature, it still gets cold and chilly!! I tried googling where I could get one and apparently a lady in Salt Lake made it up and sells the pattern for it online. I thought it would be a perfect project for me to do since I'm always looking for something to keep me busy during the day, besides these boys over here. Wish me luck! I hope it turns out the way it's suppose to! Lol

A few days ago I bought underwear for Worthy. It would probably be a good idea to start potty training him before baby comes so maybe I won't have to buy diapers for three. I just wanted to put it on him over his diaper so he can get used to wearing it all the time. Oh.my.gosh. By the way he was crying you woulda thought I was pulling his teeth out. He was NOT happy with me! He fought me trying to put them on and he cried a good half hour afterwards. He did leave them on though. He's gotten used to them. He even wants to put them on after every diaper change. I put one on Waylon too and they're soo cute! I wish I had a working computer so I can upload a few pictures in their undies. I'm happy!! I just hope I'm doing the right thing and I don't regret it down the road if he never wants to be potty trained!!

Why is it so frickin hard to come up with baby names?? Because Zeus has been busy working and coaching, we haven't had time to talk about it. But even if we did, we both still don't have any names in mind. Hopefully something comes to us by the time she's born!!
