30 Days of Romance- Days 1 & 2

I decided that for the next 30 days I'm going to do acts of kindness for Zeus, not that I don't already. But different things from little love notes and text messages to small surprise gifts. It'll be fun to see how much our love for each other will grow within the next month. I'll have to be a little creative because I already send him "I LOVE YOU" messages daily and do helpful things just for him. And who doesn't love being surprised?? :)

DAY 1- 9.27

Last night Zeus had a football game. Kind of weird because for some reason it was on a Tuesday rather than their regular game day which is Thursday. After the boys and I dropped him off at the school, I went and bought a couple packs of his favorite candy. I wrapped it with ribbon, made a note, and left it on his side of the bed for him to find later that night after the game.

When he found it he walked to the living room where I was setting up a movie for the boys. He had a weird look on his face, kissed and hugged me real tight and said, "What's that for??" as if to say, What do you want now?? Lol. I just started laughing and said, "I can't just do it to say I love you?? Jeez!!" It felt really good to surprise him for once. :)

Day 2- 9.28

All I did today was cut out "I <3 U" out of post-it notes and stuck it to the front door so Zeus would see it before heading out to work.

I'm excited to see how this next month will play out. And if our money is right (hopefully) I plan on surprising him with tickets to a concert at the end of October called Urban Legends 2 where Ginuwine, Blackstreet, and Mint Condition will be performing among other artists. We wanted to go to the first concert that was at the end of July but we went out of town the weekend they were here. But we'll see. I have a lot of things planned for the boys for Halloween and I'd rather make their holiday memorable, even though they're so young, than spend the money on concert tickets. Besides, Vegas always has concerts going on. But it's something fun to think about and look forward to. :)
