A month gone already??

Has it really been almost a month since I last blogged?? OMG although at times it didn't feel like it, March went by sooo fast. I guess that's a good thing, means I'm having fun and staying busy. ;) Let's see what we did this month...
About a week after my last blog, instead of renting a movie for family home evening, we decided to run errands and grab late lunch/early dinner and dessert. Usually when we're out with the boys we will go in and eat at McDonald's with a play place. Worthy loves the different colors and watching other little kids running around. After eating and playing, I decided I wanted to check out Sears since I hear a lot about them. AND WOW. I think they were trying to clear some inventory out or something because there were racks and racks AND RACKS of clothes on sale. I was very surprised that I ended up buying only 2 tops...didn't know I had that much self control!! But believe me, I wanted to buy the whole store. We went to the Sears at Jordans Landing and on our way out, we see they have a Yogurtland there. A Yogurtland?? A YOGURTLAND!! We were sooo excited. I LOVE Yogurtland!! So we stop in and get some yogurt. Worthy and Waylon LOVED it!! And it was neat because there were scattered showers that day and as we were enjoying our yummy (and healthy) dessert, we see a rainbow right outside our window!! Worthy wanted to run around a little bit after, and we let him. There were these cute little bears in front of the store.

The next couple weeks went by pretty fast. We attended a one year old baby girl's birthday party (Happy Birthday Hina Girl!!), the BYU luau (I love watching their luaus), finally got a netbook and desktop (thanks daddy), attended a baptism in Vegas (Congratulations Zion!), and FINALLY took the boys to get pictures taken.
We were really only going to stay in Vegas for two days, but ended up staying almost a week. The weather was PERFECT!! Oh how I miss warm weather. My poor Worthy boy. The whole time we were there we just let him run around outside because we knew once we got back home he'd be stuck inside the house for awhile. We had the opportunity to watch Uncle Ares play volleyball against Zeus's high school, Palo Verde. I made shirts for Worthy, baby Frank, and Waylon and everybody had fun taking pictures after the game (and eating at Cici's...I REALLY MISS THAT PLACE). Anyways, we drove to Vegas at night so the boys could sleep, and they did. But on the way back we drove during the day and it wasn't so bad. The boys slept most the way but when they were awake it was hard. They didn't want to stay in their seats. I don't think I will ever drive during the day again for my boys' sake. My poor babies!!

Yesterday we finally took the boys to take pictures. I had emailed the photographer weeks ago but decided we needed to wait until it was nice outside to shoot. And yesterday, was a PERFECT 70 degree day. We met at a park in Salt Lake. The boys did...ok. lol. I mean, I didn't expect them to do exactly what we said. Worthy didn't want to sit still and Waylon was scared of the grass. So in between Worthy running away all the time and Waylon crying to get out of the grass, I really hope the lady caught some nice shots of them. She emailed me a few today and the pictures turned out sooo nice!! Just waiting on the rest of them. Can't wait!! I wanted to get them done so I can blow them up and frame them to put in our new apartment. Not sure where yet, but our lease is up at the end of this month. THANK GOODNESS!! We need a bigger place. But that's another story. ;)

I really hope this month goes as fast as last month because I am tired of stressing about moving, but at the same time I'm happy and anxious to get into a new place. I am looking forward to the next few months...big changes, plenty of trips, and lots of things to do. :) Hope everyone elses summer is as exciting as mine!!
