St. George!

We finally got to go to one of Miah's college basketball games Wednesday night. Miah is one of Zeus's '02 boys, one of Zeus's closest friends/brothers. We've all grown to love him even though he can be SOOOO ANNOYING at times. No LOL, because I am serious!! Eh!! He attends school at Dixie State College in St. George and it was extra special we got to see him play because Wednesday night was his Senior Night. We had originally planned to go last weekend but there was some kind of convention going on and ALL hotel rooms were booked. Well, except for the $100+ a night rooms.
Anyways, we drove the 4 hour drive with another '02 boy and brother Jerome and Zeus's cousin Veronica. Thank goodness for portable dvd players because we got one for Worthy and he LOVED it. He watched his movies, ate his snacks, and even managed to take a nap. If that's not the best ride ever then I don't know what is. Waylon was good too. He was only fussy when he got tired but once he fell asleep he was knocked out for a good couple hours.
We made it in to St. George a couple hours before the game was to start so we checked in our hotel and ran to Walmart for a couple of last minute things. I was kind of nervous for the game because I wasn't sure how Worthy and Waylon were going to react, if they would want to run around the whole gym. But they did sooo good!! Worthy did want to run around and we let him. We sat in the very last row so he was able to and we could still keep an eye on him. And Waylon fell asleep!!
We wanted to surprise Miah so we didn't tell him we were coming and when he saw us after the game I swear he almost cried. Big crybaby. lol. It was my first time going to a college basketball game and I was happy it was with my 3 boys. I bought iron-on letters to make the boys shirts just for the game and it came out so cute!! It was a fun experience!! Now I really can't wait until the boys get old enough to understand what we do and actually enjoy it as much as us. :)
