sick babies!

These last couple weeks have been LONG and EXHAUSTING!
On Mon, Waylon started to cough and his nose started to run. He couldn't breathe and always woke up at night so I've had almost zero sleep.
Last Wed, Worthy fell out of Waylon's crib. I thought everything was ok until I helped him up and saw he was holding his arm. Of course he was crying and didn't stop for a whole half hour until he fell asleep. I figure I would wait until he wakes up to see if it still bothered him and it did. So I call Zeus to get off early and we head to the ER. Let me tell you, drs are Worthy's worst nightmare. He started crying when they stepped in sight. I had Waylon checked as well since we were already there. They took xrays of his arm and good news was there was no break. But it was swollen and sore and he hardly used it the next day. Waylon just had a cold but he was miserable. His eyes were all red and not at all my little happy baby.
On Fri he started weezing so we took him to the ER again. They had us put a little gown on him. It was cute but sad. We waited and waited and waited. Finally the doc came in, checked him out and ordered for him to get xrays just to make sure he didn't have pneumonia. Then the nurse came and swabbed his nose to test for RSV virus. The doc described that it's a little worse than a cold. We waited and I was soo tired. Finally the doc came in and said he didn't have pneumonia but the RSV test came back positive. Said I needed to take him to get his mucus sucked out. And that's what I did early Saturday morning. I was expecting for the wait to be long but it wasn't. They put a tube down his nose and sucked everything out. After that, Waylon was all better and back to his normal self. The bad thing is that RSV is kind of contagious and doc said most likely Worthy would catch it. And he did. So this week Worthy has been sick and grouchy. Today he seems a lot better. It should be gone by Mon, hopefully. Cause Mon Zeus is treating us to some yummy food and a movie! Happy VDay to me with my healthy boys!!
