k tried this mobile blogging thing but it wasn't working so I just saved the blogs to my phone til I could post them up...and here they are...
ok lets see if this mobile blogging works.
A month ago there was a shift opening at zeus work for tues-sat am shift, what we've been waiting for since he started working at cottonwood. Zeus put in for it and a couple weeks later we found out he got it!! Which means he doesn't have to work on sundays anymore and we can go to church!! And it also meant he would work his regular shift (sun-thurs) the last week of 2010 and he'd start his new shift first week of 2011 and we would have a 4 day weekend in between. So we decided to spend new years in vegas with his family.
Zeus doubled sunday and monday and worked his regular tuesday morning shift so he could get his 40 hours in and we could leave on wednesday. We left the first flight out in the morning and loved it because it was wide open. We had a whole row to ourselves and it being so early meant the boys would sleep the whole ride. It was only an hour, but an hour is a lot when you pull an all nighter packing for 2 adults and 2 little people. Never realized how much space the clothes and diapers and more clothes two little people can take up in a suitcase!! Anyways, from the time we got there, we ate, shopped, ate again, shopped again. And i was spoiled with sleep. I didn't have to worry about the boys. They had gramma and grampa and plenty of uncles and aunties to entertain them. Thursday evening mom and dad treated the whole family to FEAST RESTAURANT in the Redrock Hotel & Casino and it was sooooo good!! We took pictures in the lobby afterward. It was beautifully decorated with christmas trees and ornaments. Worthy was ready to knock out for the night so he was kind of fussy. But we were able to snap a few good pictures thanks to Janah's candy we used to make him smile.
New years eve we stayed in. Mom made some yummy enchiladas. We welcomed 2011 surrounded by loved ones (and a stuffed stomach). I really enjoyed my weekend!! Thank you to the Manumaleunas for some yummy, rested, and fun quality family time!! :)
