The church is true!!

This weekend we went to Vegas and was able to see one of Zeus's best friends get baptized. Not only did we get to see it but Zeus had the opportunity to baptize and confirm him. I can't explain how much joy I felt as I witnessed this miracle take place with my own eyes. This friend, who we actually consider a brother, has changed so much. From a party goer and worldly man to a priesthood holder and church man. We were really surprised when we heard he was taking lessons from the missionaries and even more surprised when he called us and asked Zeus to baptize him. But the one thing we weren't surprised about is how the church is true. The love of our Heavenly Father and sweet feeling of the spirit can be life changing as we very well saw over this past weekend. I am grateful for Heavenly Father and his love for me as I continue to learn how to become better as a person, mother, and wife. My little cousin, Merrik, is getting her young woman medallion next month and she has inspired me to work for mine. And I know as I work for it, I'll grow closer to being that better person I am striving to be. Thank you Mase and Merrik for setting an example for me!!
