So Operation Hawaii is no longer in progress. My family isn't going anymore because my mom decided she wants to go once a month until the end of summer to visit her family. Must be nice!! Holy cow. Ok well she has good reasons. :) Now that we're not going, I'm going to try and go with all the babies to Missouri for a week. At first it was just me and baby for Tanu's homecoming, but we'll just all go and fly back with my family right before Aliah's blessing since it's the weekend after. So I have that to look forward to! Going home for a week...except how cold it's going to be there. I have been real spoiled with Vegas weather in the 50s and 60s all winter!!
I asked my mom to make Aliah's blessing dress. She emailed me a website yesterday that had some really pretty christening gowns. So she's going to order it and personalize it somehow. I'm excited to see it! It's soo pretty! The dress comes with a bonnet but instead of using it I'm going to make a cute headband and cute booties I came across on pinterest. I LOVE PINTEREST!! :)
Yesterday Zeus called me from work, all excited, because he heard on the radio that Jagged Edge will be performing here in Vegas for a Soul Festival. He LOVES Jagged Edge. Like, LOVES. The concert falls a week and a half after our anniversary so I told him to make that our anniversary weekend...and he has lots of time to plan what we're doing, so I'm a little excited for it. :) I suggested that maybe we get a room where the event is being held...but I'm not sure I can leave the babies that long even though it's only one night. I know I'm a big baby!! The last concert we went to was Dru Hill when I was pregnant with Waylon! It was a Valentines Day concert in Kansas City and my cousin Alo had the opportunity to open for them. Rome also performed which was a plus. I love him! And if you remember, we wanted to go to a concert at the end of October but wasn't able to because of different things including Worthy being hospitalized with diabetes that weekend. :( Anyway, I looked up the Valentines Day concert being held in Kansas City to see who is performing...and it's Tony Toni Tone and H Town!! I sooo want to go but Tanu's homecoming is that NEXT weekend so I'll be going a week too late. Oh well...there'll be other concerts, right?! :)
On a different note, baby Aliah is one month old!! Has it really been a month since I had her?? She is filling out nicely and her looks are continuously changing. She takes after her daddy...a little on the dark side. She's still light, but definitely darker than Waylon. Lol And she is the only one out of the three babies who didn't have jaundice. She has BLACK hair. The boys have brown hair. She's the different one, but you can still tell that Worthy and Waylon are her brothers. Sometimes I still can't believe I have three babies. :) We all went to Zeus's basketball game on Friday and it was just a little weird walking in hand in hand with the boys while Zeus carried baby's car seat. Like, really?? The boys were actually really good during the game. I think they were just too scared to run around by a lot of strangers so they sat still. Baby slept the whole time until the end when it started getting a little loud. Sometimes I get a little scared when I have to go somewhere alone with all three by myself because you never know how they'll all act. But I REFUSE to ask for help so I just suck it up and deal with what happens. And most of the time they are sooo good!!
ok I think this post is getting long winded especially about nothing...
So...the end!
