2012!!

Nothing has really happened this month except for going to a couple of Zeus's games and dr appointments. Very unexpectedly, last weekend Zeus asked me if I wanted to go on a date with him. I was so surprised just because, well...I wasn't expecting it. All we did was go to Yogurtland and did some grocery shopping after. It was nice, the little time we had alone (with Aliah but she slept the whole time). It was a much needed little break!! :)

ANYWAY, here's the things we've got going on this year!

THINGS PLANNED...
We have so many things planned this year and a lot I want to do...

1. Let me tell you, I am so excited and ready to go car shopping once our taxes come in because it sucks so bad waking up at 6:30 in the morning, dress all the babies nice and warm, head out the door to drop Zeus off at work, THEN unload the car all by myself when we get home.. Not to mention the three babies squeezing in the back of our sedan. And all because we need the car while Zeus is at work. I try really hard to schedule appointments the days Zeus is off or at least after he gets off work in the afternoon, but things don't always work out that way. PLUS, my family has always had big cars. I learned how to drive in a big car and I miss driving them! It wasn't until my Senior year that my parents got me a Sable that I started driving small cars. I miss my Goldie! :( (It broke down in Utah which is why I eventually moved back to Missouri. It was a blessing in disguise because I got to spend a little bit of time with my family before getting married. My mom had little sister ALANA a few months after I moved back AND I found a better paying job in KC that helped pay for a little bit of our wedding. The Lord works in mysterious ways. I was up to no good in Utah anyway, so it was for the best.) And then Zeus and I purchased our first car together, the sedan we currently drive. I can't believe we've been married only 3 years (almost 4) and we already need to upgrade to a bigger car. Still can't believe we have 3 babies!!! So YAY TO A NEW CAR!! :)

2. MANUMALEUNA REUNION. Feb 9-11 that'll be held here in Vegas. I'm excited to meet some of Zeus's family the babies and I haven't met yet and also for Zeus to be able to catch up with cousins he hasn't seen in FOREVER. That weekend is also the Sevens Rugby tournament, not that we would go. Zeus and I aren't really big in rugby. But family is coming down from Utah for the event and we're looking forward to seeing them as well as MAYBE attending the concerts going on that weekend. Not sure yet because 1- I breastfeed and 2- I know Aliah can always drink out of a bottle but I don't think I'm ready to leave her yet! :(

3. VALENTINES DAY!! I LOVE VALENTINES DAY!! A couple weeks ago a member in our ward invited us to dinner at his house with his family. They are so sweet!! They made a dish from Cafe Rio that I have been craving ever since!! It had pork in it. I've never been to Cafe Rio so I don't know what it's called but it was DELICIOUS!! And I plan on making it for our Valentines dinner (since we don't have Tucanos here. Boo!!)

4. MISSOURI!! My brother returns from the New Zealand Auckland mission next month, February 7th to be exact. I AM SO EXCITED TO SEE HIM!! Unfortunately, I won't be able to go back home to see him at the airport, but I will be at his homecoming on the 19th. He still has yet to meet Waylon and Aliah. We plan on him coming back with me after his homecoming to visit for a week and just RELAX and vacation a little.

5. ALIAH'S BLESSING. We have it scheduled for February 26th and my family minus JT and Peti will be here for it!! Because...

6. HAWAII!! My family will be going to Hawaii for a week. They fly out the day after Aliah's blessing. And fingers crossed, if we get our taxes before then, we'll get to go too. Just me and the babies because Zeus has to work. I soo wouldn't leave Zeus if it wasn't for the fact that my whole family is going and because I really want to visit my family who live there.

7. MOVING. The owner of the condo we rent out is raising the price of rent so we're moving. We now live in a 2 bed 1 bath condo and the price she is asking for once our lease is up, we can get a 2 bed 2 bath for cheaper! I'm excited to move! But then I'm not because I'll be stressing just a little on finding another place and then having to pack everything. Not looking forward to it...

8. NEPHI AND TOREE'S GRADUATION! I can't believe my youngest brother and Zeus's youngest sister are graduating!! Means another trip to Missouri and lots of yummy food. :)

9. SCHOOL!! Zeus and I plan on starting up school again in the summer...YAY!!

10. WEDDING. Zeus's close friend/brother, Miah, is getting married in June in St. George. We plan on spending a couple nights out there as a short vacation getaway.

11. VACATION. Depending on how much leftover tax money we have after the car and Hawaii trip and moving expenses, we hope to go on a family vacation. Zeus has been working so hard and is soo ready for a vacation. Most likely it'll be to LA or San Diego because it isn't far away at all and I know the babies would LOVE to see the animals at the San Diego Zoo or even at Sea World. We'll save Disneyland for later (planning on going to Disney WORLD with a close cousin of mine and her family in a few years when our babies are older. Or we might just go to...

12. GEORGIA!! Zeus has been wanting to go back and visit where he served his mission for the longest time now. Since Southwest will be flying there within the next couple of months and we can get buddy passes from dad...YES PLEASE!!!

13. CHRISTMAS! Right now, I don't really know what's going on the latter part of 2012, but I know we're going to try REALLY hard to spend Christmas in Missouri this year. Zeus and I decided we'd alternate Christmas between Missouri and Vegas and last year was Missouri year but I was due on the 27th so we had to stay. I'm excited! But waiting another year means Waylon will be 2 by Christmas and we'll have to pay for FOUR tickets. I guess we can go on buddy passes but I'd rather not during the holiday season.

That's all for now and I didn't mention the babies birthday parties and the events I want to take them to. (Barnum and Bailey Circus is coming in June!!)

Exciting year ahead of us...and maybe it'll be even more exciting if I can get back to my pre-Worthy weight and size. I'm already back to my pre-Waylon and Aliah weight so 2012 started off right. I've only got 10 more lbs to lose and maybe a couple more dress sizes. I'm sure I can reach that by the end of the year...right?! LOL
