There have been a few thoughts tugging at my mind the last few days. The tug has always been there. Sometimes pulling harder than other times...but ALWAYS there.
...What the heck am I doing??...
What am I doing? Yes yes I'm a mommy...and it IS hard work. But I do have free time in between mommy time that just seems to go to waste. I guess what I'm trying to say is I SHOULD be using my time wisely to better myself as a person and a mommy besides sleep and clean and laundry and camp on fb and...you get the point. Of course those are all things that need to be done (maybe not the camp on fb part), but I feel like I'm missing something.
As far as family life is concerned, I feel so blessed to have Zeus as a husband and two beautiful boys. I can't imagine life without them and am beyond content with my family.
But take family life away and what am I left with?
No education. No homemaking skills. Nothing really to help me AT ALL if I were on my own.
I have a high school diploma but where can THAT get me nowadays besides a mediocre job? I have been blessed with good paying jobs in the past with just a diploma, government jobs actually, but nothing I LOVED to do.
I can cook and bake...but I wish I could cook and bake ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING- especially when I'm craving it. Darn pregnancy cravings!
So with this question always tugging and picking at my brain...here goes to change. To change how I use my time. To finally further my education I should have continued when I had the chance (STUPID STUPID ME!!). To learn and grow as a homemaker, yes my poor husband will be my guinea pig on first time recipes (youtube will be my best friend). And here's to trying new and different things just because. And hopefully by exploring I'll find something I will LOVE, and maybe it bloom into something that can bring extra income into the home.
And trust, you WILL be hearing about my failed recipes and ventures. LOL. Until then, I will strive to become a better and more productive ME!! Halleluia!! (Lord help me! hahaha)
Good luck!!!!!
