So busy...

We've been so busy the last couple weeks. Appointments, games, car shopping.

Aliah had her 1 month appointment on the 26th and she gained 4 whole pounds!! Doc said average 1 month weight gain is 1 - 1 1/2 pounds. So she is doing soo well! As long as I eat good, she only wakes up once at night to nurse and I get plenty of sleep. It makes me a happy mommy. :) I can't believe how big she's grown already with her looks changing EVERYDAY! She has her own look...maybe a mix between Worthy and Waylon...but doesn't pull toward a particular side. She's my pretty girl! And definitely Daddy's little angel...she can already fall asleep on him without needing to nurse. The boys LOVE her!! She is going to be one pampered little girl with TWO older brothers and daddy wrapped around her finger. :)

I had my 6 week checkup and everything went great. I can finally say that I am done with those appointments...until the next baby of course :).

Basketball season is almost over and the last game is on Friday. Zeus's team did ok. I mean, there's always room for improvement right? RIGHT! Although they didn't really have a good record, Zeus still loved coaching. He now knows what he needs to work on in order to better himself as an effective coach. The Women's Varsity coach also coaches men's summer league and asked Zeus if he'd be interested in coaching with him this summer. I would LOVE him to do it! I think he's a little hesitant because he feels like he needs just a little break. From the time we moved here he's been coaching nonstop, first with football and then right into basketball. What he wants is a nice vacation where he can just sit at home and relax! We'll see though. Friday was their last home game and Zeus wanted me to really watch it...so we dropped the boys off at grammas. I enjoyed actually being able to really pay attention to the game and watch Zeus coach. I'm soo proud of him! And I look forward to this summer if he decides to do it.

So ever since we filed our taxes we've been looking around for cars. First of all, we need two cars so I have a car at home while Zeus is at work. Second, we need a BIGGER car so the babies will have more room in the back. Well...the amount we got back will get us a really good and decent and nice car if we're not picky. But, we are. We don't want to settle for a car we don't want. So...we decided to save more than half of our tax money, stick it out for one more year and combine it with our tax returns next year and be happy to get the car we want. I'm determined!! I'm seriously going to print out a picture of my dream car and attach it to the money so it reminds me everytime I'm tempted to take from our stash what we're saving it for. I hope it works!! If you think about it, a year isn't really that long. :)

So here we go...into another exciting month of 2012. My brother comes home today!! I wish I could be at the airport. :( But good news is I get to go to MO this weekend instead of next because his homecoming was moved up. Excited to see my family!! But I will be missing half of the Manumaleuna Reunion this weekend and Zeus wants the boys to stay with him...so I will be missing my babies while I'm in Independence. It'll be a short and sweet trip.
Next week is Valentines day. I hope the Cafe Rio dish I plan on making turns out the way it's supposed to. Hahaha Then later this month is baby's blessing!! The dress my mom ordered for her came in. It's GORGEOUS!!
